A few months ago Mike paid a visit to our home due to some staining of our flooring caused by previous installation from Carpets Plus almost 6 years ago. Mike was quick to assure us that the problem would be resolved at no cost to us.

A few weeks later his call came in to set up the install date. The two guys arrived on time and worked diligently to tear up and replace our floor with the audience of two of our children. A few days later a follow up call came in from Mike (and we forgot to call back - sorry!).

I would like to take a moment of your time to let you know how pleased I am with my stain guard carpet that was purchased from you four years ago.

I had a light blue sculptured carpet installed in the family room in my basement and had a "roll-end" sapphire blue rug installed in the laundry/shower area.

These rugs have held up through muddy traffic, and with the recent flooding problems, a 2" accumulation of rain in my basement! When your installer was laying the carpet down, he told me that if I ever had a leaky basement and the carpet got saturated, I should lift the ends up and run fans and my dehumidifier and it would dry out the rug with no problem.

Well he was right!! I not only had 2" of muddy stinky water in the remodeled basement, but I also had the added foot traffic of a sump pump contractor and his crew tracking in mud, sand, and filth on my beautiful carpets. I was all but sickened when I saw the condition of the carpets when the project was completed. But, then I remembered what your installer had told me - vacuum out as much water as possible, dry them with fans, and vacuum them they should survive.

The contractors finished the sump pump work this week, and my carpets did survive. I did exactly what your installer said, I lifted up the ends, pulled out as much of the water as possible from them, ran my fans, and dehumidifiers, and when dry I vacuumed them and they look almost as new as the day they were installed. Thank you again for such a great carpet. They truly are stain guarded.
